Hiring – product marketing manager

Location:  Oslo, Norway

sensiBel is a well-funded Norwegian deep-tech company developing the next generation MEMS microphone.  The microphone is based on a patented optical readout technology enabling professional grade performance in a small package. We are sampling the product to customers and receiving great feedback from the market. Our ambition is to disrupt the market and enable new and improved user experiences in a wide range of applications. It all comes down to the fundamentals in the audio signal processing chain – the microphone. We believe in professional grade audio for everyone!

About the job

It’s an exciting time to join sensiBel on our journey to bring the next generation microphone technology to the market. You will be part of a highly skilled, committed and motivated team embracing challenging tasks every day.  As a full-time product marketing manager, you will own the positioning, messaging and branding of the differentiated MEMS microphone and the company overall. You will be the key contributor to establish the sensiBel brand in the market and manage the market introduction of the first product with the ambition to be recognized as the world-wide high-performance MEMS microphone market leader in the next few years.  

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product features, markets, target audience, competitors, trends and emerging use-cases
  • Develop effective marketing strategies and plans
  • Craft compelling messages and generate content across the various marketing channels (blogs, social media, trade publications etc.) 
  • Plan, manage and execute customer acquisition activities and promotional campaigns. Analyze effectiveness of activities and campaigns
  • Create marketing collateral that uniquely positions the product 
  • Attend trade shows and industry events 
  • Collaborate with leadership team on pricing strategy

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience 
  • Master of Business Administration a plus
  • Experience with CRM systems and web analytics tools
  • Strong dedication to marketing strategies and demand creation activities 
  • Prior experience in copywriting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Other languages a plus
